UL-200 Pigmented Concrete and Masonry Primer

UL-200 Pigmented Concrete and Masonry Primer
UL-200 is a 100% acrylic, pigmented primer-sealer for new or previously painted masonry and stucco. Its high-solids, water-based formula resists alkali and builds a durable base for topcoats—maximizing hide and adhesion and serving as an ideal hot primer for fresh stucco.
-
Recommended as a primer for slightly chalky surfaces, masonry, stucco, wood, brick, cement tile, aluminum, primed metal, and previously painted surfaces. UL200 may also be applied as a hot primer on fresh stucco.
-
Coverage depends on surface texture, thickness of application, and porosity. The average coverage on most surfaces is approximately 300 sq. ft. per gallon.
-
Apply with a Brush, Roller ( min ¾ nap ), or airless sprayer. Recommended tip size: .015 to .019.
-
1 to 2 hours at 70 F and 50% relative humidity. Dry times may vary depending on air temperature, wind, and humidity.
-
For Masonry: Remove all loose paint, dirt, mildew and chalk by high pressure water cleaning or other methods to obtain a sound surface. Do not apply to heavily chalked surfaces. For metal: When used as a DTM primer rusted or raw steel must be primed with a rust inhibitive primer and rust must be removed or treated. For wood: Acrylux UL200 can be used over most previously painted wood; prime any staining wood with a stain blocking primer.
Proper Preparation
UL200 Pigmented Primer achieves a durable, long-lasting finish for your exterior paint job. This contributes to the overall quality and longevity of the painted surfaces.
Hot Stucco Primer
UL200 can be used as a primer for fresh stucco, also commonly referred to as a hot stucco primer. This alkali resistant formula ensures that paint will properly adhere to newly installed stucco.
Hiding Power
Acrylux UL-200 can be applied white or tinted to a specific color. This primer has excellent hiding power which greatly increases coverage rates over darker colors.
