WATERPROOFING A FLAT ROOF

(Waterproofing should only be applied to flat decks with positive drainage)

1. Lightly pressure clean entire roof if necessary.

• Apply the primer of AC64 and water.

3. Apply two (2) coats of Mastic.

4. Apply the finish coat of Roof Flat or Roof Gloss Paint.

• Primer: Mix 1 gallon of AC64 with 3 gallons of water and apply to the entire surface. Allow it to dry for approximately 1-2 hours.

• Mastic: Roll 2 coats of Mastic to the entire surface and allow it to dry 24 hours between coats.

• Paint: After 24 hours apply the finish coat of paint – Roof Flat or Roof Gloss.

Coverage:

AC64 - approximately 1000 square feet per gallon.

Mastic - approximately 125 square feet per gallon.

Paint - approximately 200 square feet per gallon.

Note : *Low lying areas can be leveled using a mixture of MC76 and sandmix.

*Never tie in a flat roof to an existing pitched roof.
