DESCRIPTION: A water based liquid catalyst for cementuous compositions.
SUGGESTED USES: Acrylux MC-76 is a 100% acrylic cement modifier for all types of cement mixes including sandmix, concrete, stucco, etc. Use on painted or unpainted roof tiles, walls, floors, roofs, walks, etc.

COVERAGE: Coverages depend on surface texture, gap widths, and thickness of application. Average coverage for tile-filling is approximately 400 sq. ft. per 80 lbs. of mixture.
RECOMMENDED DRY TIME: Most mixtures will surface dry in 1 to 2 hours at 70 ° F and 50% relative humidity. Allow 24 hours before foot traffic. A complete cure takes 48 hours. Coatings may be applied at this time.

STRENGTH AND ADHESION: Cement mortars modified with Acrylux MC-76 exhibit increased tensile and flexural strengths versus unmodified mortars. When ambiently cured, thin sections dry rapidly and exhibit excellent toughness and good adhesion to old concrete and masonry, brick, wood, metals, and many other surfaces. Chemical resistance is improved over unmodified mortars. Acrylux MC-76 modified mortars also exhibit outstanding pot life under high temperature conditions versus other polymer-modified mortars.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Remove all loose paint, dirt, mildew and chalk by high pressure water cleaning, or other methods, to obtain a sound surface. Some surfaces may require a primary coat of Acrylux AC-64 (3 to 1 sealer) to aid adhesion. Always test before applying.
MIXING: Dilute MC-76 50:50 with water, then add dry goods.
APPLICATION: Cement Tiles: For filling the gaps between cement tiles, add one (1) gallon of MC-76 and one (1) gallon of water (50:50 ratio) to 80 lbs. of dry cement sandmix. This mixture may be slightly modified for larger or finer cracks. Repairs: For general repairs or other applications pre-mix MC-76 and clean water to a 50:50 ratio, then combine with dry mix to desired consistency.
