DESCRIPTION: A highly concentrated clear waterborne primer / sealer / chalkbinder.

SUGGESTED USES: A primer coat for all chalky surfaces, masonry, stucco, wood, brick, cement tile, aluminum, primed metal and all previously painted surfaces.

COVERAGE: Theoretical coverage at 1 mil is 1,000 sq. ft per gallon. Material losses during application and surface porosity will vary and must be taken into consideration when estimating job requirements.

DRY BULKING VALUE: 107 gal/lb.

RECOMMENDED DRY TIME: 1 to 2 hours in direct sunlight; dry times may vary depending on air temperature, wind, and humidity.

 

LIMITATIONS: Not for use under ponding water or below grade applications. Not for rusted surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION: For masonry : Remove all loose paint, dirt, mildew and chalk by high pressure water cleaning or other methods to obtain a sound surface. For metal: May be applied directly to weathered aluminum and galvanized steel. All other applications to metal require an appropriate primer. For wood: Acrylux AC64 can be used over most wood, prime any staining wood with a stain blocking primer.

MIXING: 3 parts water to 1 part AC64.

APPLICATION: Brush, roller ( max ¾ nap ), airless spray, or garden type sprayer. Recommended tip size: .015 to .021 (low pressure).

SAFETY INFORMATION: Use with adequate ventilation. Do not ingest. Avoid prolonged contact with the skin. Wash immediately after use and before smoking and eating. Avoid breathing vapors and mist. In case of eye contact, flush eyes immediately with water and continue for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician. Close container after each use. Keep out of the reach of children. If you scrape, sand, or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. Lead is toxic. Exposure to lead dust can cause serious illness, such as brain damage, especially in children.
