CRACK PREPARATION AND REPAIR SPECIFICATIONS

A. Gap widths up to 1/64”: Repair cracks using Acrylux fibrated elastomeric patching compound. Patch must overlap cracks by at least ½” on both sides, on top and on the bottom. Patch must be brushed on at a minimum of 10 mils.

B. Gap widths up to 1/16”: Grind open crack surface mechanically and caulk using Acrylux elastomeric caulk. Inject caulk by using tubes and apply finger pressure to achieve proper penetration.

C. Gap widths up to 1/8”: Grind open crack mechanically and caulk using a one-part urethane sealant. Inject sealant by using tubes and apply finger pressure to achieve proper penetration.

D. Gap widths up to ¼”: Grind open crack mechanically and insert appropriate sized backer-rod. Caulk using one-part urethane sealant as described in Section C.
