A protective UV inhibitive sealer for roof tiles & shingles that is designed to keep your cement tile roof looking clean and new by reducing ultraviolet fading, water degradation and mildew formation. Acry-glaze UV retards fungus and mildew development for 2 – 3 years. Only one coat of Acry-glaze UV is required where most other sealers demand two or more coats.

Application:

• Apply one thorough even coat. Once Acry-glaze UV dries it cannot be recoated, so you must keep a wet edge. Additional coats must be wet on wet. (Acry-glaze UV will bead itself if the first coat begins to dry)
• Apply with a brush, roller, or sprayer (hand pump or airless)
• Apply from the top down on most roofs, taking care not to puddle because of over application

Dry Times:

• Dry to the touch 30-60 minutes
• Full cure 24 hours
• Recoat Wet on wet

Preparation:

• For new concrete tiles, no special preparation is necessary other than making sure the surface is free from waxes, mold release chemicals, moisture or efflorescence that may inhibit the penetration of Acry-glaze UV.
• For older concrete tiles, pressure clean thoroughly to remove dirt, mildew, algae and any other contaminants. All surfaces must be clean, sound, and dry before application.

Acrylux Advantage:

• Acry-glaze UV reacts and cross-links with concrete to form a more waterproof substrate. It will not wash away like water sealers.
• Stops efflorescence from occurring and spoiling the look of colored roof tiles. Because no water can get into the substrate, no salts, or pigments can leach out and cause a “whitish” washed out look.
• Retards mold and mildew from forming on roof tiles-- because of high levels of biocides as well as the beading properties that allow the roof to dry much more quickly. Mildew needs prolonged moisture in order to grow.
• Keeps roof tiles from getting dirty because Acry-glaze UV fills the pores in which dirt may attach itself. Beading water will then provide some self-cleaning with wind and rain.

Before application the user shall determine the appropriate use of this product and the user assumes all risks and liabilities whatsoever in connection therewith. The sole liability of Acrylux for any claims arising out of the use or sale of this product shall be for the user’s purchase price.
